When should I arrive and depart?
If you are participating in the Tesla factory tour, arrive in time to be to Fremont, CA no later than 12:50 pm on March 2. Everyone else should plan to arrive with time to arrive on Stanford campus no later than 5 pm on March 2. Social events will continue into the evening on Saturday, so we recommend either a late night flight Saturday night, or a Sunday morning departure.
Which airport should I use?
The San Fransisco (SFO) and San Jose (SJC) airports are both good options, each an approximately 30 minutes drive to Stanford campus. The Oakland airport (OAK) is approximately 45-60 minutes drive to campus.
WHere should I stay, and what's the best way to get around?
Ride sharing apps like Uber or Lyft are usually the most convenient way to travel from the airport. You are responsible for your own lodging. If you would like to coordinate sharing a hotel or AirBnB with other attendees, use this link after purchasing your ticket.
For more travel information, the Plan Your Visit page on the Stanford website has information about hotels, alternative transportation, and parking.
